Why I Chose to be a Health Coach
My passion is helping women achieve their goals and dreams in life. I love the fact that health coaching is a holistic approach by working with individuals in all areas of their life. Fitness and Nutrition are very important in everyday life, that’s why I decided to open Girlfriends Fit Club, 10 years ago. Although, there’s so much more to make us a well rounded happy and healthy individual. As a health coach, I work with each client to find what areas in their life they need to put a little more focus on.
Not one client has the same needs as another client. A few examples of the areas we focus on for each client are: home environment, spirituality, career, body image, relationships (with another or themselves), nutrition, physical activity, joy. Once we determine which areas need most attention we start setting goals and I give them tools to help achieve these goals in between our sessions.
I’ve designed a safe, comfortable and relaxing space for my clients to open up and share what’s on their mind so I can help guide them in the right direction to a healthier and happy path in life. It’s so rewarding knowing that I had a part in helping someone make positive changes to better their life.
